Job Description

Konecranes Information Technology organization secures sustainable growth and operational excellence through IT Innovation and data insights. The service portfolio is wide; from IT services provided to enable Konecranes business processes, through Helpdesk, all the way to the business intelligence and analytics identifying new business opportunities.

We are looking for Teamcenter PLM Consultant with minimum 5+ years of experience in Teamcenter PLM customization, configuration, development, and solution mapping.

As a PLM Consultant, your responsibility includes active role in performing development tasks, discussing with concept owners/process owners and PLM team to understand the business requirements, and participation to Konecranes agile practices. You would be working together with architects, concept owners and business stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities:

• Design, implement and customize PLM solutions to meet business needs.
• Teamcenter customization involving ITK, SOA, BMIDE, Rich client-side customization & Active Workspace.
• Configure and customize Teamcenter BMIDE, BOM Management, Workflows, Access control, Change Management, Dispatcher Configuration, CAD and ERP Integrations, and other Teamcenter modules.
• Review business needs/requirements, convert them into IT requirements and assess PLM development efforts.
• Active role in discussing with concept owners, process owners to understand the business requirements.
• Assisting internal teams to create and maintain training materials for Engineering and PLM features.
• Collaborate and work with key stakeholders.
• Should have a fast-learning curve to adept new technologies.

Qualifications

What should you bring?

• A Bachelors’ degree or higher in computer science, or equivalent.
• Very good experience in Siemens Teamcenter PLM system with professional experience
• Experience in Teamcenter Server and client (Active workspace and Rich client) customization.
• Good understanding of Teamcenter data model, Architecture, BMIDE.
• Experience in CAD & ERP integration with Teamcenter. Experience on T4S/T4EA desirable. 
• Experience in Teamcenter Product Configurator.
• Good understanding of CTO/ ETO processes, understanding of PLM eco system.
• Experience in CAD systems (preferably NX, SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, E3, Vertex) is an added advantage.
• You have an agile mindset and experience in agile working is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, bitbucket, etc.)
• Fluent with both in written and spoken English.
• Good self-organizing skills to work independently on given tasks.
• Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards
