Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of mainframe applications using IBM Mainframe Utilities CICS VSAM JCL DB2 and COBOL.
- Oversee the implementation of IT Service Management processes to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members to resolve complex issues and ensure project success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements design solutions and implement changes.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards best practices and security guidelines in all development activities.
- Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure high availability and reliability of applications.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture processes and procedures.
- Participate in project planning estimation and risk management activities to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and management on project progress and any issues encountered.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Mentor and train junior team members to build a strong and capable team.
- Contribute to the companys goals by ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
- Possess strong technical expertise in IBM Mainframe Utilities CICS VSAM JCL DB2 and COBOL.
- Demonstrate experience in IT Service Management processes and best practices.
- Have domain knowledge and experience in the Payer industry.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Show strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Display a proactive and results-oriented approach to work.
- Have a minimum of 6 years and a maximum of 10 years of relevant experience.
