Technical Lead

Responsibilities

• Own the development of mobile apps on both Android and iOS. Lead, Design, and Code major features.
• Work closely with the Product Team to deeply understand the Business / Product needs. Maintaining quality code. Design, build, and evolve our systems to support customer-facing and internal features, while proactively incorporating best practices for security, testability, observability, and analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to deliver a compelling user experience.
• Contribute to tools, workflows, and culture to ship code from your laptop/workstation to production frequently and confidently.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables as part of a self-organizing team.
• Learn and unlearn every day by exchanging knowledge and new insights, conducting constructive code reviews, and participating in retrospectives.
  
  

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
• 4+ years building scalable systems on react-native.
• Experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, including ES6+ syntax.
• Excellent experience in any GitHub, Bitbucket for source code management and for version control.
• Good knowledge of the Code Review process.
• Adept in knowledge of Firebase, marketing platforms like MoEngage and Clevertap, and integration of other third-party libraries.
• Proficiency in resolving technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Android Studio.
• 4+ years building highly performant applications involving various technologies like database (relational / non-relational database systems), infrastructure, APM, and other tech tools.
• Proven ability to write a clean and SOLID, principle-driven program.
• Well-versed in writing DAMP automated tests that are readable and robust.
• Excellent communication skills, spoken as well as written, with a demonstrated ability to articulate technical problems and projects to all stakeholders.
  
  

Extra Credit For

• Good to have backend skills [NodeJS].
• Native Development Experience with these technologies:
• PostgreSQL. / Dynamo DB The AWS ecosystem. REST APIs.
• Gherkin syntax and Cucumber for behaviour specifications
• Tools to create and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Serverless infrastructure.
• Experience architecting cloud-native systems and managing their production deployments.
• Experience with any of these architecture patterns: Domain Driven Design. Clean Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, Onion Architecture. Event Sourcing and CQRS. Different Event-Driven Architecture patterns.
• Ability to contribute to other parts of the stack - frontend, devops, test-automation, etc.
