Technical Project Manager

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager who can also effectively operate as a Scrum Master, owning end-to-end delivery while enabling Agile teams to perform at their best.

Job Overview:

This role combines traditional project management ownership with hands-on Scrum Master responsibilities. The ideal candidate is someone who can manage scope, timelines, risks, and stakeholders while also coaching Agile teams, facilitating ceremonies, and improving delivery maturity.

You will work closely with US-based clients and stakeholders, coordinate across cross-functional teams, and ensure predictable, high-quality delivery of cloud and technology projects. Experience in business analysis and requirement discovery will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management (Delivery & Governance)

• Own end-to-end delivery of one or more projects, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, and quality commitments are met.
• Create and manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Track project progress, manage change requests, and proactively address delivery risks.
• Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and clear communication to internal leadership and external (US-based) clients.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives, delivery priorities, and technical execution.

Scrum Master & Agile Enablement

• Act as Scrum Master for Agile teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement.
• Protect sprint commitments by managing scope changes and working with Product Owners on backlog prioritization and refinement.
• Identify and remove impediments impacting team velocity, morale, or delivery predictability.
• Drive continuous improvement through metrics, retrospectives, and process enhancements.

Stakeholder & Client Management (US Clients)

• Work directly with US-based stakeholders and clients, managing expectations across time zones.
• Communicate clearly and confidently with senior stakeholders on progress, risks, trade-offs, and delivery decisions.
• Balance stakeholder demands with team capacity and Agile best practices.

Business Analysis (Added Advantage)

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, pain points, and success criteria.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans.
• Support Product Owners in backlog grooming and requirement clarification.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8–10+ years of overall experience, with 5+ years in a Project Manager / Scrum Master / Delivery Lead role.
• Proven experience managing complex, fast-paced technology projects.
• Strong hands-on experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile teams.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification (required).
• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification (preferred).
• Experience delivering cloud-based projects (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Prior experience working with US clients and stakeholders is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Business Analysis or requirement discovery experience.
• Experience scaling Agile across multiple teams or programs.
• Strong understanding of Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down, cycle time, throughput).
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Exposure to compliance, security, and governance considerations in enterprise or cloud projects.
