
Overview
We are looking for a talented Graphics Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Linux Android and Linux Embedded systems, with a strong understanding of Graphics APIs like OpenGLES, Vulkan, and OpenCL. The role involves testing graphics systems, developing and automating test plans, and working closely with various teams to ensure the highest quality of graphics performance and functionality. Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans for graphics systems in embedded environments.
Perform hands-on testing of products, including unit, integration, and system-level testing.
Automate test cases using programming languages such as C, Python, etc.
Debug issues within the graphics systems and provide detailed reports.
Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Document system-level defects and use bug tracking systems for reporting.
Adapt to testing various operating systems and hardware modules during test execution.
Ensure the stability and performance of graphics systems under different operating conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong programming skills - C, Python
- Test Experience with Embedded SW systems, RTOS (Real Time Operating Systems), and strong debugging skills.
- Experience working with GPU, CPUs, or Linux Device Drivers.
- Experience with open-source projects and upstream contributions.
- Familiarity with Yocto, Ubuntu, and other Linux distributions.
- Experience in developing and automating test plans and tools.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to approach/debug issues independently.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well with various teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
- Explore and implement new ways to automate day-to-day tasks.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
