Detailed Job Description UI/UX Developer

We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Developer with expertise in both OJET and React to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing intuitive, responsive, and seamless user interfaces for web applications.

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.

Key Qualifications

Bachelors/Master's in engineering or equivalent qualification.

Minimum of 4+ years of experience with OJET and React, along with proficiency in JavaScript(including ES6+), Typescript and asynchronous programming.

Deep understanding of OJET and React ecosystems, including components, state management, and routing.

Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.

Experience integrating RESTful APIs or GraphQL into web applications.

Knowledge of design tools such as Figma.

Experience with implementing Accessibility Standards and browser specifics.

Ability to create interfaces that adapt seamlessly to various screen sizes and orientations. Sense of visual aesthetics, including typography, color theory, and layout design.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GIT, Gradle/Maven, Artifactory).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner to all audiences.

Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.

Outstanding development skills. History of delivering extraordinary solutions to product delivery and/or clients.

Very strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent collaboration skills. Works effectively as part of multiple, varied project teams and demonstrates genuine commitment to team success.

Takes initiative and ownership. Proactive, results-oriented, with a can-do spirit in meeting critical deadlines.

Must be comfortable in fast paced and sometimes ambiguous work situations.

A customer focused mind-set with a desire to create excellent outcomes for users and implementation partners.

Prior Financial system implementation or product development experience.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver high quality user interfaces.

Work closely with designers, front-end developers, and product managers to translate design concepts into functional and visually appealing interfaces.

Translate wireframes and prototypes into functional code.

Create reusable components and libraries for scalability.

Understanding user needs, behaviours, and preferences to create interfaces that prioritize the user experience.

Optimize applications for speed, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices in software development.

Ensure seamless integration with back-end systems, collaborating with back-end developers for smooth data flow.

Troubleshoot and debug issues promptly to maintain a smooth user experience.

Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in OJET, React, and related front-end technologies.

Follow development and documentation standards.

Validate and challenge designs based on your experience in both the relevant functional domain and in development processes.

Demonstrate thoughtfulness, critical thinking and mature judgement when selecting methods and techniques for achieving success.

Demonstrate strong communication skills to deal with internal stakeholders, partners, customers, and senior management.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of and compliance with internal processes and procedures. Effectively apply Oracle's methodologies, policies, and procedures.

Preferred Skills -
