UI/UX Developer

Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Developer Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in designing user-friendly and engaging interfaces for our web and mobile applications. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to work closely with experienced designers and developers while enhancing your skills in user experience design and research.

Key Responsibilities:

A) Research:

1. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights about user needs and behaviors.

2. Analyze user feedback and data to inform design decisions.

B) Design:

1. Assist in creating wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs for web and mobile applications.

2. Collaborate with the design team to develop UI components that are visually appealing and user-friendly.

C) Collaboration:

1. Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.

2. Participate in brainstorming sessions and design critiques to refine concepts.

D) Documentation:

1. Maintain design documentation and style guides to ensure consistency across products.

2. Present design concepts and rationale to team members and stakeholders.

E) Learning:

1. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in UI/UX design.

2. Seek feedback and actively participate in skill development opportunities.

Required Skills:

l Basic knowledge of design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma).

l Understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

l Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic front-end development concepts is a plus.

l Strong visual design skills and attention to detail.

l Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

l Experience in conducting user research and usability testing.

l Basic understanding of responsive design and accessibility principles.

l Exposure to interaction design and information architecture.

l Familiarity with design systems and style guides.
