Day In The Life

Technical Leadership

• Define the overall automation testing framework and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Own the technical roadmap for regression test automation, including CI/CD integration and test data management strategy.
• Conduct peer reviews, provide feedback, and ensure code quality and reusability.
  
  

• Design, develop, and maintain complex test automation workflows using UiPath Test Suite (Studio, Orchestrator, Test Manager).
• Build reusable libraries, components, and templates to accelerate automation development across the team.
• Contribute to automating high-priority regression test cases and serve as the escalation point for complex automation issues.
• Participate in proof-of-concept development for new test automation opportunities and tools.
  
  

• Guide a team of developers in building and maintaining test automation assets.
• Provide training sessions and best practice workshops on UiPath Test Suite.
• Act as the go-to SME for troubleshooting, selector optimization, and performance tuning.
  
  

• Establish coding standards, documentation practices, and reusable asset governance.
• Track key metrics like test coverage, execution pass rates, and defect leakage.
• Continuously improve automation stability, reduce maintenance overhead, and propose innovative solutions.
  
  

• Technical Expertise:
• 5 to 6+ years of experience with UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Test Suite (Test Manager).
• Proven experience designing test automation frameworks and building modular, data-driven workflows.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, API testing, and UI automation best practices.
• Strong debugging skills and ability to resolve complex selector and orchestration issues.
• Leadership & Collaboration:
• Experience leading development teams or playing a senior developer role.
• Ability to balance leadership duties with hands-on development.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with QA, DevOps, and Product teams.
• Quality Mindset:
• Strong understanding of regression testing strategies, defect life cycle, and Agile/DevOps ways of working.
• Familiarity with test data design, version control, and integration testing.
