Overview
We're Hiring: UX Software Engineer
Full-Time | Core Team
LAT Aerospace | Perception & Autonomy
At LAT Aerospace, we’re building India’s first clean-sheet hybrid-electric STOL aircraft and a next-generation autonomy stack powering aircraft for complex missions. Our team is kicking off a new chapter — developing the full flight-control, obstacle-avoidance, GNSS-denied navigation, and swarm-coordination layers that will define LAT’s autonomy architecture. We’re hiring a UX Architect to design intuitive, high-performance, operator-first UI/UX systems for mission planning, swarm visualization, real-time video intelligence, and post-flight analysis. Your work will directly shape how users control, understand, and trust LAT’s autonomous platforms.
What you’ll do?
- Define and architect UX flows for mission control, swarm operations, real-time monitoring, data visualization, and operator interfaces.
- Design clean, intuitive UI layouts that simplify complex autonomy behaviors into user-friendly controls and visual feedback.
- Build high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models to evaluate usability and operator workflows.
- Create design systems, component libraries, and visual standards that scale across LAT’s UI ecosystem.
- Lead iterative user-testing cycles — gather feedback, observe operator workflows, refine layout logic, and optimize cognitive load.
- Build UI/UX frameworks for future features: multi-agent control, threat alerts, sensor fusion overlays, 3D map displays, etc.
What we're looking for?
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX systems thinking, interaction design, and intuitive layout structuring.
- Experience designing complex operator-facing interfaces (robotics, drones, dashboards, mission control, industrial tools, gaming, or data visualization).
- Ability to craft logical, scalable user flows that simplify multi-step operations.
- Expertise in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools; comfortable building high-fidelity design prototypes.
Why LAT?
- Core-team role building the autonomy brain of India’s most ambitious aerospace startup.
- Ownership, speed, and the opportunity to define a new class of systems from scratch.
