Job Description: VB.NET Developer

We are looking for a skilled VB.NET Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who has strong expertise in VB.NET (not C#) and extensive experience in secure file transfer, cloud storage, real-time communication, and cross-platform development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using VB.NET.
• Implement secure file transfer protocols (SFTP, SSH/SFTP, HTTP/S with TLS).
• Work with real-time communication technologies (Sockets/WebSockets, HTTPS).
• Develop and maintain synchronization frameworks (e.g., Delta-Sync).
• Integrate with cloud storage APIs (AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage).
• Use and implement file management systems/tools (e.g., EFSS, Elastic File Search).
• Contribute to the UI/UX design of desktop and web-based applications.
• Ensure applications are secure using end-to-end encryption and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) principles.
• Support application deployment across macOS, Linux, and Windows Server platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews and planning discussions.
• Maintain technical documentation and communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal.

Requirements:

• Proven VB.NET experience with a strong portfolio (GitHub/Bitbucket links preferred).
• Hands-on experience with:
• Secure file transfer protocols (SFTP, SSH/SFTP, HTTP/S).
• Real-time communication using Sockets/WebSockets.
• Delta-Sync or similar data synchronization tools.
• Cloud storage integrations (AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud).
• File management and EFSS systems.
• Strong UI/UX sense; experience building responsive desktop/web apps.
• Working knowledge of application deployment on macOS, Linux, and Windows Server.
• Solid understanding of security protocols including E2E encryption, TLS, and ZTNA.
• Excellent English communication skills – spoken and written.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a product-based or fast-paced agency environment.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
