Web Developer (WordPress/Shopify)

We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer with at least one year of experience in WordPress and Shopify development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining websites, ensuring optimal performance, and implementing new features and functionalities. Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain websites using WordPress and PHP.

Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.

Implement responsive design principles to ensure websites are mobile-friendly.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website performance, security, and functionality.

Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure seamless integration of visual and written content.

Optimize website performance for speed and scalability.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in WordPress and Shopify development.

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.

Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.

Understanding of web standards, SEO principles, and accessibility best practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce platforms.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.

Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).

Understanding of server-side technologies and hosting environments.
