AI Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled AI Engineer to join a cutting-edge team supporting a MoodWorks initiative (NowAssist) for a high-impact J&J spin-out project. This role focuses on building intelligent solutions that drive personalized, real-time assistance using AI/ML models within digital health and enterprise productivity ecosystems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, build, and deploy AI models to support MoodWorks' NowAssist platform capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data science, product, UX, engineering) to integrate AI solutions seamlessly
• Leverage large language models (LLMs), NLP, and recommendation engines to enhance user interaction
• Contribute to the architecture and optimization of real-time AI-powered workflows
• Continuously evaluate new AI/ML technologies, tools, and frameworks for innovation
• Ensure all AI implementations align with privacy, security, and ethical AI guidelines

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or applied data science
• Hands-on experience with Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, or similar ML frameworks
• Strong understanding of NLP, neural networks, embeddings, and LLMs
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and MLOps tools
• Experience with chatbots, recommendation systems, or health-tech AI applications is a plus
• Agile mindset and strong collaboration and communication skills
