Android Developer

Overview

Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and API’s.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Skills:

• Proven software development experience.
• Proven working experience in Android development.
• Experience with Android SDK.
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Should have a good knowledge of Java, Kotlin, C++ libraries,Android UI Design Principles.
• Good knowledge of SQLite Database and local database management.
• Vast expertise in Push Notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging and integration of third party service.
• Familiar with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design Principles and Patterns.
• Experience working with a source code repository (GitHub or SVN) (Optional).
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with the use of additional sensors..Eg: gyroscopes and accelerometers. (Optional)
• Prototype new ideas and explore new technologies that are at the forefront of mobile app development.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
