Android Developer

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Kotlin and Java, along with a solid understanding of Android SDK, UI/UX principles, and modern architectural patterns.

The role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable Android applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features. You will be expected to write clean, maintainable code, perform thorough testing, and ensure app performance, quality, and responsiveness.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define app features and functionality.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and fix bugs, and optimize application performance.
• Work with APIs, data sources, and third-party libraries.
• Follow Android best practices, code standards, and security guidelines.
• Maintain and support existing apps, ensuring compatibility with newer OS versions and devices.
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Solid understanding of the Android SDK and Android application lifecycle.
• Experience with Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, Room).
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations (e. g., Firebase, Retrofit, Glide).
• Familiarity with MVVM/MVP architecture.
• Experience with Git and version control workflows.
