Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate MERN Stack Developer to join our growing tech team at GoodSpace. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across the full stack, writing clean and efficient code, and collaborating with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality HR Tech solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code with proper testing and documentation.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and security.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and work with databases to manage large-scale datasets.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Required Skill Sets

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in MERN stack development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ES6+, HTML5, CSS3.
• Solid understanding of React.js hooks, Redux, and modern front-end workflows.
• Experience with Node.js, Express.js, and building REST APIs.
• Knowledge of MongoDB and database design concepts.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Exposure to microservices architecture, GraphQL, or Docker/Kubernetes.
• Prior experience in HR Tech / SaaS platforms.
