Your Day-to-Day:

• Collaborate with software engineers and architects to implement, and maintain robust automated test suites for our core platforms.
• Enhance existing automation frameworks and develop new ones to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of GoTo’s commerce platform.
• Utilize AI-powered tools and methodologies to improve testing efficiency and innovation.
• Review and contribute code as part of our continuous integration pipeline, ensuring high-quality software releases.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, cross-functional meetings, and code reviews to drive continuous improvement and team alignment.
• Share knowledge, mentor junior team members, and proactively seek learning opportunities to transition toward a developer role.
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 12–18 months of hands-on experience in Software Development.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or similar), with proven ability to write efficient automation scripts.
• Writing automation - preferably with exposure to frameworks such as Selenium , or similar.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, OOP, and version control systems like Git.
• Exposure to REST APIs, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.), and an interest in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Curiosity about AI, automation, and the ambition to advance into software development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with load/performance testing or monitoring tools.
• Contribution to codebases beyond automation (feature enhancements, bug fixes, etc.)
