Job Title: AWS Data Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to join our TC - Data and AIoT department. As an AWS Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure on the AWS platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data flow and integration, enabling effective data analysis and reporting.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop data pipelines and ETL processes on the AWS platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

2. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

3. Implement data governance and security measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

4. Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to enhance data accessibility and performance.

5. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data quality and integrity.

6. Monitor and maintain data pipelines, ensuring timely data ingestion and processing.

7. Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and technologies, and evaluate their potential for enhancing our data infrastructure.

8. Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment and monitoring of data pipelines.

9. Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures related to data engineering.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2. 2-5 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on AWS technologies.

3. Strong knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR and Lambda.

4. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Scala.

5. Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.

6. Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.

7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

8. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

9. AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty) are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹1,500,000.00 per year
