Job Description
This is a remote position.
6+ Years of Experienced with working on deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production system
- Experienced with ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems.
- Extensive experience with Terraform, Docker, ECS, and EKS for infrastructure automation and container orchestration.
- Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, GitLab Runners, and Git version control.
- Building and maintaining secure, scalable AWS environments using best practices and AWS KMS for key management.
- Implementing and managing Lambda, SQS, and SNS for event-driven architecture and microservices communication.
- Provisioning critical system security using Tenable for vulnerability management and implementing industry-standard compliance
- Integrating and maintaining SonarQube for static code analysis and enforcing quality gates within CI/CD pipelines
- Providing architecture and process improvement recommendations for performance and security enhancement (nice to have).
- Setting up and maintaining observability with tools like Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, and ELK for metrics, logging, and monitoring.
- Designing and managing tools for automation of operational processes and configuration management.
- Developing and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, optionally CloudFormation or Ansible.
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery, quality checks, and rollback strategies.
- Working closely with Development, QA, and Operations teams for collaborative troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Managing cloud services efficiently using AWS, and optionally Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Applying security practices and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
Creating and maintaining documentation for infrastructure, configurations, deployments, and operational procedures. Continuously monitoring, profiling, and optimizing system performance, scalability, and reliability. -
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or other relevant certifications.
Experience with other Cloud Providers: Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CICD, Github Actions, CircleCI).
- Strong knowledge In terraform, GitlabCICD, Docker, ECS and EKS
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of AWS (Lambda, ECS, EKS, EC2, S3, KMS, IAM, RDS, SQS, SNS), familiarity with Azure or GCP.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools Terraform (primary), CloudFormation, Ansible.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
