Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Manual Tester with strong expertise in functional testing, system integration testing, and data validation across cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL, and PySpark, along with a solid understanding of data lake environments and data manipulation techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual functional testing of data pipelines and applications built on Azure.
• Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) for data flow between various components.
• Validate data transformations and integrity across data sources and sinks using SQL and PySpark.
• Review and analyze business requirements and translate them into test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform data validation in Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and Data Factory pipelines.
• Identify and report bugs clearly with logs, queries, and reproducible steps.
• Collaborate closely with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Support regression testing, defect tracking, and test documentation.
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to continuous testing improvements.

Key Skills Required

• Strong experience in manual testing of data-heavy applications.
• Solid knowledge of SQL for complex queries and data validation.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Data Lake environments.
• Familiarity with PySpark for basic data validation/manipulation tasks.
• Hands-on experience with functional and system integration testing.
• Understanding of ETL pipelines and data flow processes.
• Experience in data manipulation and working with large datasets.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year

• Gurgaon, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
