Azure DevOps Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role will be critical in ensuring smooth deployment of applications, maintaining system reliability, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure on Azure. The ideal candidate will collaborate with developers, infrastructure engineers, and other stakeholders to maintain and enhance our cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for efficient code deployment (Python, Next.js, and other technologies).
• Manage Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Ensure secure, scalable, and reliable deployment of applications.
• Implement monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure best practices in code quality, security, and deployment.
• Automate application scaling, resource management, and system updates.
• Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency without compromising performance.
• Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
• Work closely with Azure Infrastructure Engineer and other team members to ensure a smooth workflow.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably with Azure.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipeline creation and management (Azure Pipelines preferred).
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure management (Azure, ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights).
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Understanding of security best practices and cloud networking.
• Experience working with raw code deployments (Python, Next.js).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-500, AZ-303, AZ-304, DP-203, or equivalent)

Microsoft credentials including:

• Azure Solution Architect Expert
• Azure Security Expert
• Azure Associate Data Engineer
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
• Certified Terraform Associate
• IBM Cloud and DevOps Professional certification
• Certifications on other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud)
• Certified in Big Data Engineering
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
