About the job:

Are you passionate about startups, investing, and the world of early-stage innovation? BRK Ventures is looking for a full-time Investment Analyst to join our dynamic team in Ahmedabad. This role offers a front-row seat to the startup ecosystem working directly with founders, supporting early-stage ventures, and contributing to fundraising in sectors like fintech, health-tech, agri-tech, biotech, deep-tech, and climate-tech.

Key responsibilities:

A. Ecosystem Engagement

1. Build and nurture relationships with founders, investors, and ecosystem partners.
2. Attend pitch events, demo days, and startup meetups to identify promising ventures and stay informed on emerging innovation.
3. Contribute to planning and organizing investor roundtables, networking sessions, and community engagement events.

B. Startup Evaluation & Portfolio Support

1. Analyze startups' business models, financial performance, market positioning, and growth potential.
2. Support deal sourcing, screening, and due diligence processes to evaluate investment opportunities.
3. Assist portfolio companies with pitch deck refinement, financial modeling, go-to-market planning, and fundraising strategies.

Other Requirements:

1. Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in VC, PE, consulting, startups, or innovation-focused roles preferred. Exceptional fresh graduates with strong exposure will also be considered.

2. Curious, resourceful, and self-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset.

3. Familiarity with startup accelerators, incubators, or early-stage investing is a strong plus. Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.

4. Clear, concise communicator – both written and verbal.
