Job description
Hitachi, Ltd. is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving strategic initiatives and optimizing operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:**
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria through various techniques (interviews, workshops, surveys).
- Translate business needs into clear, concise, and actionable functional and non-functional specifications for development teams.
- Conduct detailed data analysis and process modeling to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments, including business users, technical teams, and project managers, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Develop and execute test plans, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Assist in the creation of project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Support the implementation and deployment of new systems and processes, including training and post-implementation support.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions, recommending further enhancements.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and business analysis methodologies.
Job Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a large multinational corporation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and processes.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., UML, BPMN, user stories, use cases).
- Experience with various software development life cycles (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with data visualization tools and reporting is a plus.
- Familiarity with Hitachi's business domains (e.g., IT, energy, industry, mobility) is advantageous.
