As a QA Engineer to join our e-commerce organization, who will design, build, and maintain automation frameworks and test suites to ensure software quality and reliability. The role involves working with global QA teams, vendor partners, and external testers to improve test coverage and streamline QA processes.
You will:
- Build and maintain automation frameworks, tests, and tools to boost test coverage, efficiency, and CI/CD integration.
- Develop and maintain test plans and test cases, and execute functional testing for each release to ensure all acceptance criteria are met while supporting consistent QA strategies and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, internal teams, and vendor partners to ensure clear communication, seamless teamwork, and aligned testing efforts.
- Manage defect tracking and resolution and perform root cause analysis to improve product quality and prevent recurring issues.
You have:
- 5–8 years of experience in Test Automation, with 2+ years hands-on in Playwright.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript (experience with Python/Java is a plus).
- Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM, REST APIs, JSON).
- Experience building automation frameworks from scratch using Playwright or similar tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Puppeteer).
- Good understanding of Page Object Model (POM), data-driven testing, and parallel execution.
- Experience integrating tests with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Experience with test reporting tools (e.g., Allure, Extent Reports, Playwright Test Reporter).
- Strong knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
