Business Analyst/Domain Expert – GIS, Telecom

Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Experience: 5+ years in GIS and Telecom domains
Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Geography, GIS, Geospatial Science, Telecommunications, or a related field
Requirements:

• Serve as the in-house expert on GIS, telecom networks, LiDAR processing, and geospatial workflows.
• Gather and document business requirements from telecom operators and GIS stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and spatial process flows.
• Collaborate with GIS analysts and telecom engineers to ensure accurate data mapping and representation.
• Define 3D modeling and feature extraction needs for LiDAR and point cloud datasets.
• Align development efforts with GIS best practices and telecom industry requirements.
• Identify and define requirements for spatial analysis, network optimization, and AI automation.
• Create and execute test cases for GIS, point cloud, and telecom-specific use cases.
• Engage clients through workshops and validations to ensure solution alignment.
• Maintain clear documentation of functional specs, use cases, and spatial design artifacts.
