
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP PLM Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge in Teamcenter & Mendix integration to SAP, SAP ECTR (Engineering Control Center), SAP Document Management System (DMS), and a solid understanding of SAP workflow capabilities. Additionally, the candidate should possess a working knowledge of SAP EHSM (Environment, Health, and Safety Management), Engineering change records. In this role, you will drive the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP PLM solutions that support business operations, ensure seamless integration across systems, and improve product lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teamcenter & Mendix Integration to SAP : Lead the integration efforts between Teamcenter, Mendix, and SAP, ensuring smooth and efficient data flow between the systems. Troubleshoot integration issues, optimize system interfaces, and ensure consistent data synchronization across platforms.
- SAP ECTR Implementation & Support : Implement and support SAP ECTR (Engineering Control Center), ensuring efficient management of engineering documents, product structures, and BOMs (Bill of Materials). Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between Teamcenter and SAP ECTR to improve product lifecycle collaboration.
- SAP Document Management (DMS) : Oversee and enhance the SAP DMS (Document Management System) processes, ensuring efficient document creation, version control, storage, and distribution across departments. Focus on optimizing the document distribution process to meet business needs and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Workflow Development : Leverage your deep knowledge of SAP workflow capabilities to design and configure workflows that automate critical business processes such as change management, approvals, document control, and product lifecycle events. Ensure workflows are designed to optimize efficiency and improve collaboration across teams.
- SAP EHSM Integration : Support the integration of SAP EHSM (Environment, Health, and Safety Management) with SAP PLM solutions, ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations throughout the product lifecycle. Work with the EHSM module to track and manage risks, incidents, and compliance efforts.
- Change Records Management : Implement and manage change records in SAP to track product changes, improvements, and lifecycle events. Ensure changes are efficiently documented, reviewed, and approved within the system, following standard change management processes.
- BRF+ Configuration : Utilize your working knowledge of BRF+ (Business Rule Framework) to design and configure rules for automating business processes. Ensure BRF+ rules are effectively integrated into SAP workflows and change management processes.
- Business Process Analysis : Analyze and document business requirements for SAP PLM, ECTR, DMS, and other related systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define functional specifications, and work with technical teams to implement solutions that meet business goals.
- End-to-End Solution Delivery : Lead the end-to-end delivery of SAP PLM solutions, including requirements gathering, system design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. Ensure that the solution is aligned with SAP best practices and business objectives.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams : Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to ensure that SAP PLM, ECTR, DMS, and workflow solutions meet organizational requirements and enable efficient product lifecycle management.
- Training & Support : Provide training to users on SAP PLM, ECTR, DMS, SAP workflows, change management, and related processes. Offer ongoing support for system users, resolve issues, and ensure systems are used effectively across departments.
- Testing & Quality Assurance : Oversee testing activities including functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new SAP PLM solutions. Ensure that all issues are addressed before deployment and systems are optimized for production use.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for improvement in SAP PLM processes and workflows. Propose and implement changes that enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and user experience of SAP PLM systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience : 10+ years of experience as an SAP Business Analyst with hands-on expertise in Teamcenter & Mendix integration to SAP, SAP ECTR, SAP DMS, workflow development, SAP EHSM, and change records management.
- Technical Skills :
- Extensive experience with Teamcenter and Mendix integration to SAP systems, ensuring seamless data flow.
- Strong knowledge of SAP ECTR (Engineering Control Center) and SAP Document Management System (DMS), with expertise in document creation, version control, storage, and distribution.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP workflow capabilities, particularly in automating business processes like change management and approvals.
- Working knowledge of SAP EHSM (Environment, Health, and Safety Management) and its integration with SAP PLM processes.
- Familiarity with change records management in SAP and ensuring compliance with change management processes.
- Experience with BRF+ (Business Rule Framework) in S/4HANA to automate business rules and processes.
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or SAP certifications (e.g., SAP PLM, ECTR, EHSM) are a plus.
- Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues and optimize business processes.
- Project Management : Experience in managing or contributing to large-scale SAP PLM projects. Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall is beneficial.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality, to deliver integrated SAP solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and understanding its impact on PLM and integrated systems like Teamcenter and Mendix.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies for managing SAP projects.
- Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) principles and best practices.
- Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP Cloud Platform is a plus.
