Job Description – Data Analyst
We are looking for a Data Analyst to support hospital operations through data-driven insights. The role involves analysing workforce-related data, tracking performance metrics, and building dashboards that enable leadership to make informed decisions and optimize organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze workforce and hospital operational data to identify trends and gaps.
- Build dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel for management decision-making.
- Monitor and evaluate key metrics such as attendance, manpower utilization, shift planning, training effectiveness, and performance outcomes.
- Provide insights on staff deployment, process efficiency, and resource allocation to improve overall hospital operations.
- Automate recurring reports and streamline reporting processes to enhance accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct predictive and ad-hoc analyses to support strategic planning and workforce optimization.
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance in handling sensitive organizational data.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, dashboards).
- Hands-on experience with Power BI and Tableau for visualization and reporting.
- Knowledge of Python and SQL (basics) for data processing and automation.
- Understanding of Business Intelligence Analytics and workforce data interpretation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to present data insights clearly to management.
- Proactive, quick learner and team-oriented mind-set.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics / Data Analytics / Statistics / or related field.
- Exposure to analytics in hospital/healthcare/operations domain Added Advantage.
- Certifications in Business Intelligence, R Programming, Excel, or Project Management are an added advantage.
