- Data Analysis: Collecting, cleansing, and analyzing financial and operational data (e.g., costs, production, efficiency, inventory) to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Reporting & Monitoring: Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track factory performance against budgets and goals (e.g., P&L, cost variances).
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Supporting annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes for factory operations, including cost calculations and variance explanations.
- Strategic Insights: Translating complex data into actionable recommendations for optimizing operations, reducing costs, improving profitability, and guiding strategic decisions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Working with production, supply chain, procurement, and other departments to gather requirements, ensure data accuracy, and align financial objectives with operational realities.
Qualifications - External
Education
- Bachelor's Degree: Essential, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- BI Tools: Advanced Excel, Tableau/Power BI, and SQL are critical.
- ERP Systems: Experience with SAP (especially CO, PP, MM modules) is highly valued due to its prevalence in manufacturing.
- Modeling: Strong financial modeling and statistical analysis abilities.
- Financial: Deep understanding of cost accounting, financial statements, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Operational: Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and key operational KPIs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Detail-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable.
- Relevant experience (2-5+ years) in data analysis or finance within a manufacturing environment is typically preferred for experienced roles.
- Certifications in data analytics can be advantageous.
