Roles and Responsibility

• Conduct analysis and interpretation of complex data sets to derive meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Provide support to clinical trial strategic forums and evaluating field medical impact on clinical trials.
• Perform statistical analysis, data mining, text analytics using LLMs and predictive modelling on datasets to uncover trends and correlations that support medical and field team impact on trials.
• Partner with medical stakeholders to identify business problems, goals and KPIs to develop analytical frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional BI&T teams to ensure accurate data flow, deliverables, and seamless implementation.
• Champion innovation in process efficiency, including automation, advanced data visualization, and integration with AI/ML tools.
• Prepare and present concise analyses, dashboards, and territory action plans for leadership, clearly communicating success stories and improvement opportunities.
• Foster a culture of analytical excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning within the FMA team, integrating feedback and best practices.
  
  

Skills and competencies

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with experience in medical/pharma analytics.
• Hands on experience with SQL, Python and front-end visualization tool (such as Tableau, power BI) is must.
• Solid understanding of digital/visual analytics tools, process automation and data transformation/manipulation, AI/ML methods including LLMs, and decision science frameworks.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, able to present complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Business acumen and strategic thinking, with a focus on translating analytical findings into actionable field and leadership recommendations.
  
  

Experience

• We welcome people with Bachelor's or master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in data analytics, data visualization, ideally within the biopharma or pharmaceutical industry.
• Familiarity with clinical trials data and field medical day to day activities.
• Proficiency in experience with extracting actionable insights using ML techniques.
• Strong track record in presenting data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders for informed business action.
• Experience with data manipulation and front-end visualization tools (such as tableau, power BI) and SQL and Python.

On-site Protocol

BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role

Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility.
