DevOps Engineer

Overview

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Azure Cloud & DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure Cloud, infrastructure automation, security hardening, and modern DevOps practices. This role demands a deep understanding of cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, IaC tools, and OS-level security across Windows and Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities: Azure Cloud & Infrastructure Management

• Manage Azure Tenant, Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, and Active Directory (AAD).
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-availability infrastructure.
• Maintain resource optimization and cost-efficiency across environments.

DevOps & Automation

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or Bicep.
• Write and maintain custom scripts in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation tasks.

Security & OS Hardening

• Implement CIS benchmarks and system hardening for Windows and Linux servers.
• Perform regular patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.
• Use Azure Security Center, Defender, and identity management tools for monitoring and compliance.

Problem Solving & Optimization

• Identify and address weaknesses in existing cloud or DevOps setups.
• Proactively suggest architectural improvements and implement proof-of-concepts (PoCs).
• Work closely with development teams to ensure optimal infrastructure alignment.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in Azure Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on expertise in tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
• Strong understanding of security baselines, vulnerability management, and patching strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure Certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-500) are a plus.
• Experience with production-grade deployments in enterprise environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
