About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on and dependable DevOps Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to manage and enhance our cloud infrastructure and software delivery pipeline. As part of our AI-first platform team, this role is ideal for someone who is technically strong and excited about integrating AI tools into modern DevOps workflows to drive productivity, automation, and system reliability.
You will play a key role in optimizing build and deployment processes, maintaining secure and scalable infrastructure, and ensuring smooth and consistent software delivery. The ideal candidate has deep experience with AWS (or similar platforms), holds a cloud certification, and brings a proactive approach to automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and monitor scalable, secure infrastructure on AWS or similar cloud platforms (GCP, Azure)
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable deployments
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent
- Oversee application deployments, perform rollbacks, and support zero-downtime release strategies
- Monitor system health and performance using observability tools for logging and alerting
- Optimize build and deployment workflows to reduce cycle times and improve reliability
- Enforce cloud security best practices and implement infrastructure guardrails
- Troubleshoot deployment or infrastructure issues and collaborate with development and QA teams to resolve them
Required Skills and Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a DevOps role within a cloud-based environment
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, VPC)
- Cloud certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer (or equivalent)
- Proven track record with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI)
- Experience implementing deployment automation and rollback strategies
- Proficient with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
- Skilled in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Shell
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting multi-environment deployments (development, staging, production) across multiple countries or regions
- Exposure to DevSecOps, security hardening, or compliance frameworks
- Background in managing infrastructure for healthcare or data-sensitive platforms
