About the Role
Airlearn is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in cloud
infrastructure, automation, and system reliability. The role involves designing scalable AWS
infrastructure, streamlining deployments with CI/CD, managing containerized workloads, and enabling
observability across systems. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery
and high availability of applications.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and manage AWS services (VPC, RDS, EC2, Elasticache, Route53,
CloudWatch, CloudFront, Redshift, OpenSearch, ELK, etc.).
• Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, Pulumi, Packer, Ansible, and Helm.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools to streamline
application delivery.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Implement and manage observability solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, New Relic, and
OpenTelemetry.
• Develop scripts and tools in Python, Go, Bash (or similar) to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Configure, optimize, and maintain middleware technologies like Redis, Kafka, and ELK.
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues across distributed environments, ensuring high
availability and scalability.
• Partner with developers, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of
applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong background in Linux/Unix administration and system troubleshooting.
• Proven hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (networking, storage, compute).
• Expertise with IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, Helm, Packer).
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Go, Bash, Rust (or similar).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent).
• In-depth knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, New Relic,
OpenTelemetry).
• Familiarity with middleware and streaming platforms (Redis, Kafka, ELK).
• 2–4 years of professional experience in DevOps, Systems Administration, or Software Development in distributed or large-scale environments.
