We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer II to join our IT Applications team in Bangalore, India, reporting to the director of Build & Release. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will play a key role in driving automation, scalability, and reliability across our systems, working closely with Engineering, Security, and Operations teams. You will also enable our business team to maximize its potential and achieve greater market share by building scalable solutions, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, synthetic monitoring, optimization of deployment pipeline, and efficient reports and dashboards.

What you’ll do:
- Lead the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software delivery
- Design and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure using cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Collaborate with software engineers, QA, and IT teams to ensure smooth and secure delivery of applications and services
- Monitor system performance and proactively address issues across development, staging, and production environments
- Drive initiatives in automating the build and deployment processes
- Ensure compliance with security and governance standards across environments
- Anticipate future technology needs and business requirements to drive new technological approaches and tools
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum and waterfall methodology
- 5 -7 years of hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, with knowledge on Jenkins orchestration using groovy scripts
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and system architecture
- Proficiency in configuration setups and excellent knowledge in code deployment, version conflict resolution, and troubleshooting capabilities
- Experience with build tools and environments, including Git, Jenkins, ANT, and one or more APM tools such as NewRelic, ThousandEyes, AppDynamics, Splunk, and incident management tools such as ServiceNow is preferred
- Experience with scripting and/or programming with languages like Groovy, Python, Perl, and Ant
- Good understanding of deployments using Force.com migration tools, such as Salesforce Tools IDE, GitHub, Eclipse, and Version Control
- Good exposure to Java/AWS or any cloud computing, Chef/Puppet/Salt configuration management system and Apache/Tomcat Web Server, JBoss, RedHat Linux, Mysql

- Understand the landscape of the IT system architecture and integrations
- Identify the automation opportunities for build and deployment of Enterprise Applications
- Identify the hidden time drain of deployment process and optimize the release cycle
- Be a change catalyst for the organization to embrace the DevOps model, bringing value by automating and building software plugins to reduce the IT team’s load
