Front-End JavaScript Developer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Front-End JavaScript Developer with strong experience in Vue.js or React who is eager to expand their expertise into the Odoo Web Library (OWL). This is a great opportunity to work on modern web applications, contribute to UI/UX design, and engage in the Odoo ecosystem. You’ll play a key role in developing interactive, user-centric applications in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain front-end components and features using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Design and implement reusable UI components using OWL.
• Migrate or adapt existing components into OWL as needed.
• Collaborate closely with back-end developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and accessibility in all UI implementations.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code with a focus on performance and usability.
• Stay up to date with front-end technologies and frameworks, especially related to Odoo development.

Required Qualifications:

• 2–5+ years of experience as a Front-End Developer.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS/SASS.
• Hands-on experience with Vue.js or React in production-level applications.
• Understanding of component-based architecture and state management (Vuex, Redux, or similar).
• Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating them into front-end applications.
• Willingness and ability to learn OWL (Odoo Web Library).
• Experience with Git, Agile workflows, and code review processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with OWL or working on Odoo-based projects.
• Knowledge of Python (used in Odoo backend).
• Familiarity with Odoo’s modular architecture and templating system.
• Understanding of performance optimization techniques and modern front-end tooling (Webpack, Vite, etc.).
• UX/UI design sensibility.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ernakulam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
