Full Stack AI Engineer - Internship

Overview

About the internship:

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Design, build, and ship end-to-end features across frontend, backend, and AI systems (from idea -> production).
2. Run rapid product and AI experiments - evaluate new models, frameworks, and tools; prototype quickly and measure impact.
3. Build and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines powering AI-driven workflows.
4. Improve frontend performance, UX, and product polish with production-quality implementation.
5. Set up and manage DevOps workflows - deployments, CI/CD, monitoring, infra reliability.
6. Work directly with customers to understand pain points and translate feedback into product improvements.
7. Optimise system performance, cost, and reliability across AI and infrastructure layers.
8. Take ownership of ambiguous problems and independently drive them to execution.

Stipend:

Skills required:

JavaScript, Python, SQL, Node.js, NoSQL, GitHub, React, TypeScript, Next.js, AWS Lambda, LLMOps, LLM evaluation and Cursor (GenAI)

Other Requirements:

1. Strong fundamentals in computer science (data structures, system design, networking basics).

2. Hands-on experience with at least one frontend framework (React/Next.js or similar) and one backend stack (Node.js/Python/Go, etc.).

3. Experience building with LLM APIs, AI agents, embeddings, RAG pipelines, or experimentation with new AI tools.

4. Comfortable deploying applications (Docker, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines).

5. Has built and shipped real projects (GitHub links required).

6. High ownership mindset - prefers autonomy over hand-holding.

7. Curious about emerging AI technologies and actively experimenting beyond coursework.
