Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Full-Stack Developer to join our team and play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of our web-based applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both back-end and front-end development, with a strong focus on pure PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript. This position involves building and supporting robust server-side logic while ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience on the front-end. The Full-Stack Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and help improve our existing codebase.

This role includes responsibilities for the development and ongoing support of our marketing site, including implementing SEO optimizations and enhancing front-end interactions to improve visibility and performance.

Marketing site is based on the following stack: Pure JS for client side SPA. WordPress for blog management. And basic API with pure PHP and MySQL.

Key Responsibilities

Back-End Development:

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using pure PHP for server-side logic and web application functionality.
• Design and optimize complex MySQL queries and database schemas to ensure data integrity, performance, and security.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
• Perform systematic code testing to identify and fix bugs, defects, and vulnerabilities before deployment.
  
  

Front-End Development

• Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using pure JavaScript, including ES6, for a dynamic user experience.
• Convert design mockups into high-quality HTML and CSS, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.
• Implement dynamic and interactive features to enhance user experience using Vanilla JS.
• Perform systematic code testing to identify and fix bugs, defects, and vulnerabilities before deployment.
  
  

Marketing Site Development

• Full support and ongoing development of the marketing site, including maintenance and enhancements of the custom CMS.
• Implement SEO optimization strategies to improve site visibility and performance.
  
  

Collaboration With Cross-Functional Teams

• Work closely with developers, QA, designers, and Tech Leads to deliver high-quality products on time.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure a seamless transition from design to functional user interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and share knowledge with team members.
  
  

Continuous Improvement

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in both front-end and back-end development.
• Identify areas for improvement in the existing codebase and contribute to refactoring and optimization efforts.
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

Technical Expertise:

• Extensive experience with pure PHP for server-side development.
• Excellent knowledge of pure MySQL, including complex query design, database optimization, and management.
• Strong proficiency in pure JavaScript for building dynamic and responsive front-end interfaces.
• Experience with HTML and CSS, with the ability to convert design mockups into functional web pages.
• Experience with SEO optimization and familiarity with SSR (Server-Side Rendering) is a plus.
• Experience with CSS pre-processors like SASS or LESS is beneficial.
