Full Stack Developer | MERN | Experience (2-3 Years) | Mumbai

Overview

We are seeking a frontend-focused MERN stack engineer (2–3 years only) who can build responsive, dynamic, and visually appealing web applications using React.js and related technologies.
You will primarily focus on the frontend layer, but should also be able to integrate with backend APIs and work comfortably with both MongoDB and MySQL databases.
This role is ideal for someone who loves creating user-friendly interfaces, enjoys solving real-world problems, and wants to grow into a full-stack developer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, interactive, and component-based UI using React.js, HTML5, and CSS3 (or styled-components / Tailwind).
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data exchange.
• Optimize pages for performance, speed, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Write clean, reusable components and maintain scalable frontend architecture.
• Build frontend logic for data visualization, forms, and dashboards using REST APIs or GraphQL.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve frontend performance issues.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend teams to bring features to life.
• Maintain clear documentation and adhere to coding best practices.

Required Technical Skills

• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap, Material UI, or Tailwind).
• Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints.
• Good experience with Node.js and Express.js for backend communication.
• Familiarity with both MongoDB and MySQL for data handling and queries.
• Understanding of Git/GitHub workflows and code versioning.
• Knowledge of frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, Vite, or npm scripts).

Good to Have

• Experience with Next.js, Redux / Context API, or TypeScript.
• Exposure to UI performance optimization (lazy loading, memoization, code splitting).
• Familiarity with testing libraries like Jest or React Testing Library.
• Basic understanding of deployment pipelines (Vercel, Netlify, or AWS).
• Interest in exploring full-stack or DevOps tools as you grow.
