Job Description
Liquidity Lock is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to help build and scale our end-to-end trading platform. You will work across backend services, data pipelines, and frontend systems, building highly interactive interfaces for real-time market data.
This role requires strong ownership across the stack — from designing low-latency backend systems to delivering responsive, data-intensive user interfaces.
This is not a CRUD-heavy role — expect to build performance-critical backend systems and highly interactive, data-driven frontends tightly coupled with real-time data streams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js (REST/WebSocket APIs).
• Build and integrate Python-based services for data processing, and analytics.
• Build and maintain high-performance frontend applications using React.js.
• Develop interactive, data-intensive UIs for real-time market data visualization.
• Handle real-time data pipelines and ensure low-latency communication between systems.
• Work closely across the stack to ensure efficient data flow and minimal UI latency.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability under live market conditions.
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical decision-making.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in full stack or backend-heavy development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js (API design, async patterns, performance tuning).
• Solid experience with Python (data processing, scripting, or backend services).
• Strong proficiency in React.js and modern frontend development (state management, component architecture, performance optimization).
• Experience building data-heavy or real-time UIs (charts, dashboards, streaming data preferred).
• Experience working with real-time systems (WebSockets, streaming, event-driven architecture).
• Understanding of system design, scalability, and low-latency systems.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and caching systems (Redis preferred).
• Experience with modern development tools (Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
