What You'll Do
As a Platform Engineer within BCG’s CT GenAI Portfolio, you will design, build, and operate scalable platforms that enable GenAI-powered capabilities across the firm. You will work closely with Product, Data, and Engineering stakeholders to ensure GenAI solutions are reliable, secure, and production-ready.
While your foundation is platform engineering, your focus will extend beyond traditional IT platforms to include AI-enabled services, integrations, and workflows that support marketing use cases such as content generation, personalization, campaign intelligence, and insights.
You Will
- Build and operate core platforms and integrations that support GenAI-enabled marketing products and services
- Engineer and maintain scalable, secure, and performant environments for GenAI applications
- Partner with Product Owners senior stakeholders to translate business needs into robust platform capabilities
- Enable seamless integration between GenAI tools, SaaS platforms, data sources, and internal systems
- Support platform components used by LLM-based applications, including orchestration, monitoring, access control, and observability
- Lead platform upgrades, performance optimization, and platform lifecycle management
- Support proofs of concept and pilots for emerging GenAI and marketing technologies
- Ensure platforms meet enterprise standards for security, compliance, and reliability
- Document platform designs, patterns, and best practices to drive reuse across the GenAI portfolio
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 6–8 years of experience in platform engineering, software engineering, or IT systems
- Strong experience with cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proficiency in backend development and scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Experience designing and supporting APIs, integrations, and event-driven systems
- Proven experience with platform upgrades, performance optimization, and operational excellence
- Proven experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
- Strong understanding of Cloud Native solutions and platform as product concepts.
- Strong understanding of security, access control, and enterprise platform standards
- Experience enabling or supporting GenAI / LLM-based applications
- Familiarity with LLM concepts, APIs, embeddings, or RAG patterns
- Experience integrating AI services with content platforms
- Exposure to observability, monitoring, and platform analytics tools
- Experience working in complex, multi-system SaaS environments
