GMO MI - Data Analyst

Overview

Step into a role of GMO MI - Data Analyst, where you’ll take responsibility for client service and operational execution task. You must take responsibility for controlling risk and enhancing controls in connection to your job and areas of responsibility in accordance with rules and regulations. You must follow well defined procedures that may require a range of job routines and make judgement based on practice and previous experience.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need previous experience in:

• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of data analytics to interrogate data and produce quantities and quality management information to allow key stakeholders to make informed decisions.
• Knowledge and experience of using Business Intelligence Tool (Alteryx, Tableau, SAP BO, POWER BI), data management platforms like SQL, AWS Redshift, MongoDB.
• Knowledge of Banking Operations (specifically Markets products/processes) will be preferred.

This role is based out of Chennai.

Purpose of the role

To implement data quality process and procedures, ensuring that data is reliable and trustworthy, then extract actionable insights from it to help the organisation improve its operation, and optimise resources.

Accountabilities

• Investigation and analysis of data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification.
• Execution of data cleansing and transformation tasks to prepare data for analysis.
• Designing and building data pipelines to automate data movement and processing.
• Development and application of advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and AI, to solve complex business problems.
• Documentation of data quality findings and recommendations for improvement.
