Role Overview

Join our team to build and scale core backend systems that power a new generation of intelligent, data-driven products. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the founding team to rapidly develop features, solve complex engineering challenges, and drive innovation in distributed systems and ML infrastructure while leveraging modern backend architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and scale core backend systems that power intelligent data-driven products.
• Partner closely with the founding team to design and ship features quickly.
• Solve complex challenges in distributed systems and machine learning infrastructure.
• Design cost-effective and scalable solutions using modern backend architectures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, frontend, and data science teams.
• Contribute ideas and proof-of-concepts to help steer product direction.
• Continuously raise the bar on system reliability, scalability, and engineering excellence.
  

Skills:

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with a proven record of building and shipping reliable systems.
• 3+ years at one organization where you built systems from scratch and led projects.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, domain modeling, and event-driven/microservices architectures.
• Proficiency in at least one of: Golang, serverless architectures, SQL/NoSQL databases, ElasticSearch, GraphQL, or microservices.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a history of mentoring and collaborating with other engineers.
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities to tackle ambiguous problems.
  

Qualifications:

• Required Experience: 6+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years focused on building systems from scratch and leading projects.
• Bonus Points: Experience contributing to open-source tools and working on state-of-the-art ML platforms, distributed infrastructures, or real-time analytics systems.
