Primary Skill Set

• 5- 7 years of software engineering experience, preferably in data-intensive environments.
• Proficient in Python 3.11/3.12.
• Data-intensive environment experience : familiarity with processing, transforming, or managing large datasets efficiently.
• Version control (Git) - hands-on experience with branching, merging, and pull requests.
• Debugging and performance tuning - ability to profile and optimize Python applications.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, unittest) and maintaining automated
  
  

testing pipelines.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Python applications and scripts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system design and integration.
• Optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Write automated tests and maintain code quality through reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve software defects and production issues promptly.
• Write clean, readable, and efficient Python code and unix shell scripts.
