Overview

Qualification

• Minimum 2+ years experience designing and implementing enterprise grade iOS apps.
• Strong knowledge Objective C and Swift and familiarity with mobile development challenges
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Address Book, Core Data, Core Animation, Core Location, Core Bluetooth, Core Foundation, etc.
• Experience with offline storage, multi-threading, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with consuming RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
• Knowledge of UI/UX standards and Apple User Interface development guidelines.
• Knowledge of C and C++ is an advantage.
• Experience with using profiling tools for assessing performance, memory usage, etc.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Proficient in code versioning tools (SVN and Git).
• Familiarity with continuous integration is an added advantage. Soft Skills:
• Ability to interact directly with Client face to face and/or through Audio/Video conference
• Easy-going and flexible individual who can integrate and function within a pre-existing team
• Self-starter can operate with minimal direction
• A creative thinker and experienced problem solver.

• Provide guidance on implementation and design best practices to other developers
• Produce design artifacts such as class diagrams and sequence diagrams for iOS lib features or client solutions.
• Implement product features within a team using best practices to meet product deliverables
• Refactor code to increase operating efficiency and extensibility and/or adapt programs to new requirements.
• Implements reusable unit tests to ensure the integrity of on-going product quality.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning sessions and provide constructive feedback
• Help the Management team with high-level estimation and clarification of technical implementation of features.
• Prepare software packages for deployment that adhere to the defined standard deployment policies.
• Create software documentation for releases
