Roles And Responsibilities

• Technical Support:
  
  

Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and networking issues.

Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.

Manage user support requests via ticketing system or direct communication.

• Network & System Maintenance:
  
  

Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN), internet connectivity, and Wi-Fi systems.

Perform regular system backups and ensure data protection and disaster recovery processes.

Manage firewall, antivirus, and security patch updates.

• Software & Application Management:
  
  

Install, upgrade, and support commonly used office software (MS Office, ERP, Tally, etc.).

Coordinate with software vendors for troubleshooting and updates.

Ensure software licenses are valid and renewed timely.

• Asset & Inventory Management:
  
  

Maintain records of IT assets and perform periodic audits.

Tagging and documenting IT hardware and software assets.

• User Access & Security:
  
  

Create and manage user accounts, email IDs, and system permissions.

Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices.

Monitor systems for unauthorized access or data breaches.

• Documentation & Reporting:
  
  

Maintain records of system configurations, SOPs, and incident logs.

Prepare and submit regular IT reports to the management.

• Vendor Coordination:
  
  

Liaise with external vendors for hardware procurement, AMC, or technical support.

Evaluate IT products and suggest improvements.

• Project Support:
  
  

Assist in implementation of IT projects and upgrades.

Provide technical assistance during audits or compliance checks.
