IT Support Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Support Engineer Intern to join our team. This role provides hands-on experience in troubleshooting, maintaining IT infrastructure, assisting end-users with technical issues, and supporting candidate onboarding. It’s a great opportunity to gain practical experience in IT support and expand your technical skills in a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Provide technical support to employees via email, phone, or in-person.
• Install, configure, and update software and hardware components.
• Support IT team in maintaining and monitoring network and system security.
• Assist in documenting IT procedures and maintaining an inventory of IT assets.
• Collaborate with different teams to ensure seamless IT operations.
• Learn and apply best practices for cybersecurity and data protection.
• Support the IT aspects of candidate onboarding, including:
• Setting up new employee accounts and email configurations.
• Configuring and provisioning laptops and other required devices.
• Granting access to company tools, applications, and network resources.
• Providing an IT orientation for new hires.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Knowledge of networking concepts (IP, DNS, VPN, DHCP, etc.).
• Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of IT asset management, including inventory tracking and lifecycle management.
• Exposure to vendor coordination or vendor management processes.
• Basic server management Skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with IT support tools like remote desktop applications.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
