Java Developer

We are looking for a skilled Java developer to support the backend of a mobile app for online trading. The role involves designing and maintaining web applications using Java 11+, Spring, and Spring Boot, managing deployments on AWS or GCP, and working with Oracle databases using Flyway and Hibernate. You’ll also integrate systems via Kafka and JMS, manage CI/CD with Jenkins, and ensure high-quality code through TDD and Cucumber. Familiarity with Grafana and Splunk for monitoring, along with active participation in Agile Scrum ceremonies, is expected.

Your tasks

• Designing and developing scalable web applications using Java 11+, Spring, and Spring Boot
• Deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
• Integrating and maintaining messaging systems using Kafka and JMS
• Implementing and executing automated testing with Cucumber and TDD practices
• Monitoring and troubleshooting application performance using Grafana and Splunk

Requirements

• Proficient in Java (11+) with Spring Boot for building scalable and maintainable backend services
• Experienced in deploying and managing applications on AWS or GCP cloud platforms
• Skilled in integrating messaging systems like Kafka and JMS for efficient communication between microservices
• Well-versed in using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git to streamline build and deployment processes
• Strong knowledge of test automation using Cucumber and TDD practices to ensure high code quality and reliability
