Java developer

Overview

Responsibilities :

1. Design, code, test, and debug Java-based applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
2. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, reviewing their code and providing constructive feedback
3. Collaborate with other teams to integrate Java-based applications with existing systems or third-party APIs
4. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and ensure the scalability and efficiency of Java applications
5. Maintain and enhance existing Java codebases by identifying and addressing bugs, adding new features, and improving overall code quality
6. Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, code comments, and user guides
7. Troubleshooting and Support: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues reported by customers or internal stakeholders

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 3-5 years of experience
2. Strong proficiency in Java programming language and associated frameworks and libraries (Spring, Spring boot, Hibernate etc.)
3. Solid understanding of software development principles, object-oriented design, and design patterns
4. Proficiency in using IDEs (Integrated Development Environments) such as Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA
5. Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and technologies such as Redis, ElasticSearch.
6. Familiarity with software testing techniques and frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito)
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
