Java Software Engineer

Overview

Job Summary:

A skilled Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in Auth0 for authentication and authorization. The role involves designing and implementing secure identity solutions, integrating Auth0 with Java-based backend systems, and ensuring best practices in security, scalability, and performance. The candidate will work on securing REST APIs and microservices and collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless authentication flows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement authentication and authorization flows using Auth0
• Integrate Auth0 with Java applications (Spring Boot / Spring Security preferred)
• Implement OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, SSO, MFA
• Configure roles, permissions, RBAC, and custom claims
• Secure REST APIs and microservices
• Work with frontend teams to support login, token handling, and session management
• Troubleshoot identity, access, and token-related issues
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and standards

Must Have Skills

• Java (8+)
• Spring Boot and Spring Security
• JWT (JSON Web Tokens)
• REST API security
• Strong hands-on experience in Auth0 is mandatory.
