Job Overview: Quality Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Manual Tester with 1 or 2 year of experience to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, reliability, and performance of software applications by executing manual test cases and identifying defects. You will work closely with developers and product managers to ensure the highest quality of deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Execution: Create, review, and execute test cases based on software requirements and design documents.
• Bug Identification and Reporting: Identify and report defects/bugs in the software, ensuring they are documented clearly and reproducibly.
• Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new changes have not negatively impacted existing functionality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure testing meets expectations.
• Test Case Management: Manage test case execution and track the status of defects in the bug tracking system (e.g., Jira).
• Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive test logs and reports, highlighting areas for improvement or potential risk in the software.
• Test Environments Setup: Set up and maintain test environments to ensure the accuracy of test results.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements in testing methodology, reporting, and overall software quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 1-2 year of experience in manual software testing.
• Familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
• Good knowledge of bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Azure devops).
• Hands-on experience in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios.
• Basic understanding of database testing (SQL queries).
• Ability to perform regression testing, functional testing, usability testing, and integration testing.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
