About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and intellectually curious Junior Analyst to join our growing Data & Analytics team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in data analysis, business intelligence, and critical thinking. You will be responsible for interpreting data, generating insights, and supporting strategic initiatives across various business units.

As a Junior Analyst, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, work with large datasets, build dashboards, and deliver actionable insights that inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Extraction & Transformation:
  
  

Design, write, and maintain efficient SQL queries to extract, clean, and prepare data from various sources for analysis and reporting purposes.

• Reporting & Dashboarding:
  
  

Develop, automate, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using Excel, Tableau, or other BI tools to monitor KPIs and performance metrics.

• Data Analysis:
  
  

Apply statistical and analytical techniques to identify trends, detect anomalies, and provide recommendations based on data-driven evidence.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  
  

Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Operations, Finance, Marketing, etc.) to gather business requirements, translate them into analytical deliverables, and present insights in a meaningful format.

• Data Quality & Governance:
  
  

Support data validation, cleansing, and monitoring activities to ensure high data integrity and reliability.

• Communication & Documentation:
  
  

Clearly document methodologies, assumptions, and results. Communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences through reports, visualizations, and presentations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in data analytics or business intelligence roles.
• Strong analytical thinking and logical reasoning with a proven ability to work with complex datasets.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with ETL processes.
• Solid working knowledge of Excel, and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – able to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
• High attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  
  

Preferred/Bonus Skills

• Exposure to scripting languages like Python or R for data analysis.
• Experience with cloud platforms and tools (e.g., AWS, Snowflake, Google BigQuery) is a plus.
• Prior experience in the financial services or fintech domain is advantageous.
• Understanding of data modeling and warehousing concepts.
