About the Role:
The data engineer will grow a team of data engineers and partner with internal stakeholders to build out the foundations, design and deliver data solutions. This role will demand strategic planning and technical knowledge of data engineering, tools and data architecture definition to improve the effectiveness of data pipelines. Lead data engineer will formulate strategic and operational leadership within data and across the engineering and product leadership team.

**Responsibilities:

Data Architecturing:

• Building and maintaining robust data architectures
• Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present key findings and insights to stakeholders
• Implement data processes for the Data Warehouse and internal systems
• Manage and update Data Engineering architecture
• Implement processes for data accuracy and reconciliation
• Design and implement ETL processes
• Make data available through reporting platforms Data Analytics:
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis and deep dives into specific business areas to uncover insights and root causes of issues.
• Conduct thorough analysis of marketing and product KPIs, including but not limited to campaign effectiveness, customer acquisition, conversion rates, ROI, and customer segmentation.
• Based on data analysis, provide recommendations for process improvements, resource allocation, and strategic initiatives.
• Conduct a thorough analysis of marketing performance metrics, including but not limited to campaign effectiveness, customer acquisition, conversion rates, ROI, and customer segmentation
• Plan A/B testing, experimentation, and hypothesis testing to drive continuous improvement in marketing strategies and tactics. Stakeholder Management:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and data requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Product to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement
• Collaborate with leadership to support strategy and decision-making processes by providing data-driven insights and scenario analysis. Team Management:
• Hire and build data engineering team
• Set KPIs and provide mentorship to the team to achieve maximum productivity to enhance the growth opportunities and potential.

Requirements:

• ⁠10+ years of experience combined with data analysis and data engineering.
• Proficient in EDA to uncover insights for more data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional data orientation with proficiency in
• End to End data visualization
• Build Data warehouse
• ETL processes and tools
• Cloud platforms
• Programming in Python or R
• Big data technologies
• Setting up data pipelines from scratch
• Experience in both B2C and B2B.
• Implementing data governance

Must Have:

• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Communication skills (technical to non-technical translation)
• Project management experience
• Understanding of business metrics, marketing metrics, and KPIs
• Requirements gathering and translation to technical specs

• Familiarity with e-learning industry
• Understanding of subscription-based business models
• Experience with customer analytics
• Content performance analytics knowledge
